Planting your bare root trees

With bare root orders ready for pick up soon, now is the time to get ready for their arrival! 

When planting your bare root trees there are a few steps to follow to make sure your new plants thrive.

1. Cover the tree roots with moist soil as soon as you get them home.
2. Add Grow Better Enriched Organic Planting Mix to your planting area to improve the soil.
3. Dig a wide, deep hole.
4. Plant your tree, making sure you don’t cover the graft which should sit above the soil level.
5. Water in your new plant with Seasol once a week for 4-6 weeks.
