Site Supervisor - ASQ Premix Concrete Castlemaine

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to manage day-to-day operations at our Castlemaine Premix Concrete plant. The Site Supervisor will ensure efficient plant operations, compliance with safety standards, and oversee a team of concrete batchers and truck drivers. This role also involves managing customer orders, stock levels, and yard presentation while operating batching systems, forklifts, and loaders as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the safe and efficient daily operations of the Castlemaine Premix Plant including daily product moisture testing and operations of U-Batch computer system.
• Manage and supervise staff, including rostering and training
• Ensure compliance with safety and operational procedures
• Maintain product quality and yard presentation
• Operate the concrete batching system and equipment (forklift, loader)
• Handle customer orders and scheduling of deliveries
• Ordering raw material stock
• Perform plant maintenance and repairs as needed

Key Selection Criteria

1. Concrete industry knowledge or experience
2. Demonstrated experience in batching concrete and supervising teams in a similar role.
3. Safety-conscious and strong work ethic
4. Knowledge of Chain of Responsibility
5. Exceptional customer service and multi-tasking skills
6. Experience operating a loader and forklift
