WA61 - Castlemaine

Originally mined in the 1800's gold rush, our Castlemaine site is currently used as a landscape supply yard with plans for an Industrial Estate in the near future.

In 1984 the site was issued a Work Authority for the extraction of gravel to supply local government and CRB for road works. In 2015 the site became exhausted of resources and a new rehabilitation plan was established with the encroachment of residential developments in mind.

After consultation with the local Council and community, it was decided that the best use of the land was to develop it as an Industrial Estate. In 2016 a planning permit was granted for future development of the site, which is currently underway.
