Moss White is known for its stunning white bark and can be planted as a specimen tree or clumped together to form a forest effect. This tree is moderate growing, so is well suited to street plantings, parks and gardens. Long hanging pale green catkins flowers, small bright green leaves turning yellow in Autumn. Upright pyramidal tree, 10 metres x 5 metres in size. Plant in a well drained and well worked soil. Take care to plant the bud union above the soil level. Water in well and keep soil moist until tree is established. Fertilize when planting and again after new growth appears. Prune tree when planting to encourage new growth.
